Todd founded Zurado and is responsible for the overall technical direction of the company as well as its consulting services. He specializes in the design and development of orchestration, monitoring, and control systems for the data networking, consumer electronics, and building automation industries.

Todd has a research background in human judgment processes and decision-making under conditions of high uncertainty. After receiving a PhD in cognitive psychology from Rice University, he joined Bell Labs in New Jersey, where he designed user interfaces and decision-support systems used in AT&T's regional operating companies. He also led pioneering work that employed AI and machine learning to improve the speed and precision of network fault isolation.

After leaving Bell Labs, Todd has held key software architecture and design positions at early-stage startups and F500 technology companies in Silicon Valley. Todd is also a seasoned executive with experience running globally distributed engineering organizations.

Though an avid software technologist, Todd's primary focus has always been on end-users, and how best to create products and services that meet their exact needs.
