INTRODUCTION
------------
PXT Portal delivers on-demand content to users of the PXT Probe proximity-based
information system.
This version of PXT Portal is compatible with PXT Probe version 1.00.76B or higher.
PXT Portal is designed for use on the following Windows Mobile platforms:
* Smartphone 2003 SE
* Mobile 5.0 Smartphone
* Mobile 5.0 PocketPC
* Mobile 6/6.1 Classic
* Mobile 6/6.1/6.5 Standard
* Mobile 6/6.1/6.5 Professional
PXT Portal requires the Microsoft Bluetooth stack. PXT Portal may run with
some unsupported stacks, though this is not guaranteed. When unsupported stacks
are used, you will be required to verify manually via your device's Settings interface
that Bluetooth is ON and in DISCOVERABLE mode, and that the Serial Port Profile (SPP)
is enabled. PXT Portal will not function on devices that do not have SPP installed and
enabled.

CAVEATS / KNOWN PROBLEMS
------------------------
Several versions of 2003 Smartphone SE and nearly all versions of Mobile 5.0
allow users to specify a default "Incoming COM Port" for Bluetooth communication.
The default COM assignment, which is typically made in the Bluetooth setup section
of the Settings menu, must NOT be set. While PXT Portal is in use no COM port can
be designated as the default "Incoming COM Port" for Bluetooth communication.
If a default is currently specified, it should be unchecked or deleted, depending on
how your actual Settings interface works.

about 33ft, or 10 meters. PXT Probe communicates with two types of information sources:
PXT Transponder and PXT Portal.
This version of PXT Probe is compatible with PXT Transponder version 1.00.3 or higher and
PXT Portal version 1.00.P26B or higher.
